Two Stories That Begin With Loss

Yusei lost his wife, Tamao, and created Mariya from the one song she left behind. In Mariya’s own story, she lives with the loss of Noir, the black cat who may have saved her more than she saved him.
Two losses. Two stories. And something that continues after goodbye.
The Keeper of Stories

Noir is the storyteller behind Mariya’s world—the name Yusei uses to share her songs and stories. His purpose is simple: to keep what matters from disappearing.
From One Song
To a New Voice

Only a few minutes of Tamao’s singing remained.
Yusei used that fragment as the starting point for a new AI singing voice, shaping and retraining it through repeated voice conversion until Mariya emerged.
Not Tamao returned.
Someone new, beginning with something she left behind.
A Fiddle in Every Song

As a child, Tamao wanted to learn violin but never had the chance.
When Mariya was created, Yusei carried that memory into her story.
Since then, every Mariya song has carried the sound of a fiddle.
